Yes, you read correctly. I have found the 'PERFECT' T-shirt. It's funny I have been on a long mission since I want to say, 'High school' looking for this darn T. After turning 36 years old this past May, I had almost just about given up!!!! I have found 'GREAT' T's in many plus size stores, Avenue, Old Navy, Rainbow, etc. , you get my point.
I love Walmart, let's just start with that. Who doesn't??? I was looking for some new planters for my GARDEN when I saw this shirt. They came in all colors I had one in my hand and it felt great, 95% cotton/ 5% spandex, by George ME. The label read close fit. I was thinking maybe this will be too tight on me, and you know how we big girls do the NEGATIVE talk at times in our minds as we shop for clothes. I was already placing it back on the rack, when a very nice girl expressed to me that she loved this t-shirt and this was her second trip to stack up on some. This very pretty girl was about my size:) Hm mm, I figured what the heck? I grabbed several in all colors and yes, I got some in BLACK.
I had them in my closet for about two weeks. My hubby invited me out to a new club our way, near Elizabeth, NJ. I was like freaking out. Oh my what am I going to wear?? You know the drill; let's face it we all have something sexy we can come up with in our closets. Yet, we find out we have a date, an unexpected guest coming over, a fashion emergency and we lose our minds. Searching through that closet as if our lives depend on it. Sure maybe not our lives, but our sanity sure does. I found out through my Raul that it was sort of trendy bar so we can go casual and not get TOO dressed up. I found a great pair of jeans(Avenue) and I found one of the T's, of course the black one:)
This was the actual first time trying this one. I fell in love. I kept touching the shirt, looking in the mirror and could not believe that it look so nice, felt so good. It was not too short, long, tight, big, it was just RIGHT. Did you all just get the last part?? It was just RIGHT!! By this time my Raul is already in the car, he is talking about being late or something. I could not understand the concept. I got these on the sale rack for about $6.00, I got over 10 of them because I am gardening at times and I can use them for stuff like that. What, foolish of me to even consider wearing this magical Tee in the garden. This T-shirt must be worn for all of my going out events, lunch meetings, etc.
To make a long story short. My Raul couldn't stop staring at me that night and kept whispering sweet little somethings in my ear. I got approached by two thin girls(straight size) and they wanted to know where I had gotten this T-shirt. I gagged, and very proudly said,' Walmart'.
I would have liked to admit that it was from a new trendy shop in the village or it's from the Manolo plus line. Truth be said, it wasn't. So to all of my beautiful ladies out there that are thin or big, please go and check out Walmart and their hot Designer Mark Gise( George ME) line. They once again have proved that they are the best store around!!!!!!!!!!!!
