I was going through my collection of glossies when I came upon the August "07" issue of Nylon Mag and ran upon something rather titillating. I had to share this with you all. Ashley holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. The socially responsible designer came into the idea of using vintage leather goods as a catalyst. Ashley finds her material at local thrift stores and consignment shops. She uses leathers of all cuts, styles, and colors from a washed jade green to fine wine red. Her designs bring back the ideal of craftsmanship and true talent.
